Ingredients
Meatballs:
1 pound ground beef
1 large egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Seasoning:
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp sweet paprika powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley
pinch of cayenne
Glaze:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cherry coke
2 green peppers
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 400F° & mix up all the spices under "Seasoning".
2. Add 2 heaping tbsp of spice mix (or the entire mixture if you would like), bread crumbs & egg to ground beef. Mix thoroughly.
3. Using an ice cream scoop, make balls and place onto a cookie sheet covered in baking paper.
4. Bake for 15 min. at 400F°
5. Moving on now to the glaze, mix brown sugar, green peppers & a half cup of cherry coke in medium bottomed skillet. Bring to a boil, then keep at a medium heat for 7-10 min. Stir occasionally. Once your coke mixture does not bubble fiercely after stirring, its the perfect glaze consistency.
6. Flip the meatballs and put them back into oven for another 10 minutes.
7. Now brush the meatballs with glaze and them put back into the oven for another 5 min.
