Dr. Pepper Crock Pot Ribs


Ingredients
1.5 - 2lbs beef or pork ribs
1 12oz can of Dr. Pepper
1 1/2 barbecue sauce

Dry Rub
1/4 cup paprika
1/4 cup chili powder
1/4 cup black pepper
1 tbsp cayenne
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp salt

Instructions
1. Tenderize ribs and rub with Dry Rub mixture.
2. Baste lightly with 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce and place in Ziploc bag.
3. Leave in fridge overnight.
4. Place ribs in crock pot
5. Pour in Dr. Pepper, making sure not to pour directly on ribs.
6. Cook on a low heat for 4 hours.
7. Drain liquid and baste ribs with 1 cup of barbecue suace.
8. Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
